Look Papi! A Plane!

Anybody that has spent some time around Penny knows that she LOVES airplanes.  She always wants to go to the airport when we drive past it.  So today, Penny and I took a visit to the airport to watch some planes, enjoy a treat, and have a good time.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Kelu and Sophie

While our friends Jen and John were in the states, we helped take care of their boxers, Kelu & Sophie.  Penny came to help one evening and had a blast.  Kelu really seemed to like Penny and followed her around and kept trying to give her kisses.  John is back, so no more dogs, but Jennifer is still in the states, preparing to run in the NYC marathon.  Good Luck Jennifer!!!!!!

Embalse Con Papi

Lisa was very kind to let Penny and I sneak off into the valley this morning after breakfast. We drove up to the Embalse for a nice walk along the reservoir. As you can see from some of the pictures, the water level is lowest I’ve ever seen. We had a nice long walk, enjoyed jumping and singing and playing in the wind. Penny and I had a great time together!

Water! Mountains! Wind! er….. dirt.

After a nice nap, Penny and Mommy baked a cake!

Imagine It! Children’s Museum of Atlanta

One of our first days in Atlanta, Terry, Steve, Penny and I headed downtown to the Imagine It Museum.  It is geared towards toddlers and it was amazing.  Penny had so much fun learning about recycling, saving energy and playing.  She apparently inherited Steve’s ability to act and was part of a show.  Afterwards, we decided to go to the CNN building for lunch.  On our way through the park, we encountered the fountains (see previous post).  Luckily I had brought a spare set of clothes so Penny was able to play in the water.  She had so much fun, we couldn’t wait to go back, which we did with Mary Jane when we went to the aquarium.

One of Penny’s best days, ever!

One of our last days in Connecticut was probably Penny’s favorite day.  It started off with a boat ride to to other side of the river, then apple picking and then we headed to the carousel one last time.  It was a great day, beautiful weather, and Penny is still talking about it!  Can’t wait for next year!!
