Penny and I headed down to Philly last Friday to spend a long weekend with the Mac Donald’s.  Steve flew in on Saturday night  and Penny was so happy to see him.  We had an amazing time seeing everyone and playing with all the kids.  Thank you so much Jan and Al for such a great time.  We can’t wait to reciprocate your hospitality when you come down to Chile!!  Love you guys!!!  On a side not, I did not take many pictures so if anyone has any, please forward them on to me!!!!
Penny has had so much fun playing with her friends Lucas and Lily. She was able to celebrate their 6th birthday with them and loves seeing them as much as possible. She also enjoyed getting to play with Auntie Jill and Auntie Rachel. Penny is so blessed to have so many friends!
Friendly’s-yes, that is a M&M pancake!
Fernridge Park-
I forget the name, but it’s an indoor fun place with video games, rides, duck pin bowling-
Ready, Set-
STRIKE!!!!!!
One of my fondest memories when I was young was spending a special day with my mom when she would take the day off from work. My mom and I were excited to take Penny on a girls day out while we were home. We decided to go to the Yankee Candle flagship store and then to the outlets for some shopping. Penny was in heaven at Yankee Candle. The store is christmas themed and has an area with snow falling on the trees. Penny loved seeing everything- from the christmas villages, meeting Santa, christmas decorations, smelling the candles, watching the trains and playing in the snow. We had so much fun that we’re hoping to make it a yearly tradition!
Grams and Grandpa Tom are avid gardeners. Penny loves to help them in the garden, especially when she gets to enjoy eating the fruits of their labor! Yum, homegrown eggplant parm!!
Penny has had a great time playing with her grandparents. Some of her favorite things are swimming, blowing bubbles and going for walks. Her vocabulary is increasing daily and she is a non stop talker!
