I’m sorry we haven’t posted anything since we’ve been in the states, but get ready, here come a bunch of posts! Penny and I were lucky enough to get to fly first class and Penny loved it. She loved watching TV with the headphones and I loved being able to relax in style. Can’t wait to do it again!
On Friday while Karin was at work, we all headed south to Cottonwood, Adam’s hometown. Â We had a wonderful time seeing the sites and Adam was a great tour guide. Â Here are some highlights-
Getting ready to go-
Stopping at Uncle Adam’s childhood house and smelling the flowers-
Lunch at the Country Haus. Â Penny had a corndog for the first time and loved it (as did I)!
Hanging out at Joe’s (Uncle Adam’s dad) office and store-
Saint Gertrude’s Monestary-
Mammoth bones in Grangeville-
The Dog Bark Park Inn-
Chinese food for dinner-
Wednesday morning we said goodbye to Grandpa Tom and Grams. Â We had a wonderful visit with them and can’t wait for August! Â We spent the morning going to Pataha Flour Mill where Penny got to see all the antique mill parts and old items that people have donated. Â She had a great time looking at everything and it was a beautiful day. Â Beth wasn’t too impressed, she spent most of the time sleeping.
We then headed to Taco Time for lunch, which was a wonderful fast food mexican restaurant. Â Penny loved my crispy burrito and stole it and ate the whole thing!
After nap time we all headed out to feed the ducks. Â The ducks weren’t so into eating at the time, but Penny had a blast throwing in the bread! Â Beth looked adorable in her bear hat, but promptly fell asleep as soon as we got in the car!
