Haircuts!!
Penny and Teddy went to day for their first haircuts. Penny went in wanting a style, and ended up getting a few inches trimmed off while Teddy got a little man haircut. Will post an after shot of Penny at a later date (apparently, didn’t take one 🙁 )
Botanical Gardens
On Tuesday after a wonderful lunch at Antico, best pizza I have ever had, we head to Atlanta Botanical Gardens. The gardens were beautiful, full of lush gorgeous plants, magical living sculptures, and they even had a childrens’ garden full of interesting plants, fountains, play equipment, and themed areas. To say Penny and Teddy had a blast would be an understatement. They were able to spend the afternoon running around in a beautiful setting, even got to play in a brief but strong summer shower. It was an enchanting day for all!
Firework fun
We were treated last night to a firework display put on by Grandma and Grandpa’s neighbors. Â Teddy slept through it, but Penny was having so much fun, we decided to play with sparklers after the show. Â
Visiting Granny
We are so happy to be in Atlanta and get to visit Granny, Penny and Teddy’s Great Grandma. Â We have gotten to go twice to see her, once to celebrate Penny’s birthday and then yesterday to visit. Â Teddy was excited to push Granny around in her wheel chair while Penny told Granny all about our visit and what we have been doing. Â Can;t wait to go visit her again soon!!
Chattanooga part 4
Despite the rain, after the aquarium we headed to Collidge Park to ride on the carousel. Â It was the most beautiful and whimsical carousel that I have ever seen. Â It took Teddy a few times around to like it, but by the end he was as happy as Penny on the carousel.
Outside the carousel in the park was a beautiful fountain. Â As soon as Penny saw it, she wanted to run around it. Â Since it was already raining, what’s a little more water.
